I've heard of Cabal from an online buddy who told us that it was fun at times but too generic and didn't offer anything majorly unique compared to WoW. He mentioned it having WoW's tendencies towards grinding but without all the other bells and whistles alongside it. I notice it has a free play option so I might give it a pop sometime and judge for myself, though I honestly think the only company that has a chance of creating something more enjoyable than WoW is Blizzard themselves (or Activision Blizzard, as they're now know. Rolls off the tongue eh.).

By the way, according to their respective wiki's -- Cabal was released October 2005 in Korea and came to Europe late 2006 / the start of 2007. WoW was released in North America in November 2004. Irrelevant but just for the record.
